A new magnetic chip removal accessory is available
for Mueller Chip Sweepers used on our low pressure
stopper fittings. A powerful magnet attracts and
holds the chips and shavings that result from the
cutting operation so they can be removed from the
line, preventing them from being blown down stream
of the tapping or stopping operation. The magnetic
chip remover accessory can be used with existing
Mueller chip sweeper tools to remove chips from the
line. Simply loosen the allen screw at the base of
the sweeper, replace the wire brush attachment with
the new magnetic chip remover, and tighten the
allen screw.
