GROEBNER seeks to be an active, contributing member to the variety of communities where we are involved. Through our industry involvement, we are part of the national conversation for environmentally sound power generation with natural gas. We represent our customers’ needs and viewpoints. And we bring our own expertise on natural gas distribution systems into the search for safe and effective solutions.
GROEBNER also believes in supporting strong community growth through encouraging supplier diversity. We understand the benefits to our customers, business, and community of having a supplier network that reflects the diversity of the communities where we work and live. Encouraging Diverse Business Enterprises (DBEs) by adding them to our network encourages growth in their business and our communities.
Our employees’ talents extend well beyond their achievements in supporting our customers’ businesses. Our staff generously support numerous nonprofit organizations with their time and money. We donate, walk, ride, run, and sponsor fellow coworkers and groups doing meaningful work in our communities. GROEBNER is proud of our team and their community spirit.
In order to foster and support that spirit, GROEBNER offers a program of Volunteer Time Off (VTO). This program allows our staff to take paid time off during the work week for volunteer projects, expanding their choice of possibilities.
Examples of nonprofits our team supports include:
- American Cancer Society
