Straightening vanes and flow conditioners are used to condition the flow of the gas before the meter. Typically used in some turbo-meter applications, the straightening vanes meet the recommended dimensions of the AGA turbo-meter installation guide. The flow conditioners are used in extreme cases and are almost always used with large multi-path ultrasonic meters.
