Medium-density polyethylene (MDPE) pipe for natural gas distribution. Typically, medium-density polyethylene pipe for gas distribution is yellow to identify it as a gas pipe. All of the medium-density pipe meets the stringent quality and technical requirements for gas distribution piping per ASTM D2613 specifications and is marked PE2406 or PE2708 or both.
