A.Y. McDonald’s Meter Outlet / Bypass Valves are 5 psi rated valves to be installed on the outlet of the meter. They can be assembled directly to the meter outlet or used with a meter bar that provides a solid anchor to the meter set.

The valves can be produced with or without a bypass feature. The combination of configurations will minimize both meter set costs and future headaches of having to enter the customer’s premises when doing meter change-outs or maintenance on the meter set.

These meter outlet/bypass valves utilize the A.Y. McDonald ball valve (brass ball with 3/4" port) design to eliminate any maintenance. The Bypass feature can be utilized with existing utility systems.
